Titanium grade 1 (ERTi-1) alloy is commonly referred to as commercially pure (C.P.) titanium with the level of impurities and mechanical properties increasing slightly from ERTi-1 to ERTi-4. C.P.

Titanium grade 1 Welding Rods Filler Metal is used for gas-tungsten-arc-welding (GTAW) and plasma-arc-welding (PAW).

Applications:

is typically used in seawater and brackish water heat exchangers, chemical process heat exchangers, pressure vessels and piping systems, pulp bleaching systems, air pollution control scrubbers, and electrochemical and chemical storage tanks. These grades also have some uses in the aerospace industry..

Typical Chemical Compositions %:

C 0.03 - O 0.03/0.10 - N 0.012 - H 0.005 - Fe 0.08 - Ti rem.

TYPICAL MECHANICAL PROPERTIES:

Tensile strength: 240 MPa (34,800 psi)

Yield strength: 170 MPa (24,650 psi)

Titanium grade 2 (ERTi-2) alloy is commonly referred to as commercially pure (C.P.) titanium with the level of impurities and mechanical properties increasing slightly from ERTi-1 to ERTi-4. C.P.

Description:

Titanium grade 2 Welding Rods Filler Metal is used for gas-tungsten-arc-welding (GTAW), gas-metal-arc-welding (GMAW) and plasma-arc-welding (PAW).

Titanium Grade 2 is the most widely used titanium alloy for industrial applications because of its good balance of strength, formability, and weldability. Applications:

Titanium Grade 2 is typically used in seawater and brackish water heat exchangers, chemical process heat exchangers, pressure vessels and piping systems, pulp bleaching systems, air pollution control scrubbers, and electrochemical and chemical storage tanks. These grades also have some uses in the aerospace industry.

Typical Chemical Compositions %:

C 0.03 - O 0.10 - N 0.020 - H 0.008 - Fe 0.20 - Ti rem.

TYPICAL MECHANICAL PROPERTIES:

Tensile strength: 340 MPa (50,000 psi)

Yield strength: 275 MPa (40,000 psi)

Elongation: 20%

III) TITANIUM GRADE-5 KEY FEATURES :

Titanium grade 5 (ERTi-5) alloy is commonly referred to as "6-4" titanium and is probably the most widely used titanium alloy. Its high strength, ability to be heat treated, weldability, excellent fatigue strength, and hardness make this alloy excellent for aerospace and industrial applications.

Applications:

Titanium Grade 5 is typically used for for industrial fans, pressure vessels, aircraft components, compressor blades, and automotive and jet engine parts.

Typical Chemical Compositions %:

Al 5.5/6,5 - C 0.05 - O 0.18 - N 0.030 - H 0.015 - Fe 0.30 - V 3.5/4.5 - Ti rim. -Yt 0.005

TYPICAL MECHANICAL PROPERTIES:

Tensile strength: 895 MPa (130,000 psi)

Yield strength: 830 MPa (120,000 psi)

Elongation: 10%

Hardness: 300ยท340 Hv

IV) TITANIUM GRADE-7 KEY FEATURES :
Download Product Details

Titanium grade 7 (ERTi-7) alloy is probably the most corrosion resistant titanium weld metal in industrial applications. Mechanical and physical properties are similar to those of ERTi-2. The 0.12 wt.% palladium addition improves corrosion performance and extends the use of titanium into mildly reducing media, to much higher chloride levels, or where the environment fluctuates between oxidizing and reducing, and where crevice or under deposit corrosion is a problem.

Typical Chemical Compositions %:

C 0.03 - O 1.0 - N 0.020 - H 0.015 - Fe 0.20 - Pd 0.12/0.25 - Ti rim.

TYPICAL MECHANICAL PROPERTIES:

Tensile strength: 345 MPa (50,000 psi)

Yield strength: 275 MPa (40,000 psi)

Elongation: 20%
